Synopsis
A diverse cast of queer neurodivergents fuck around & find out in this smutty toast to rom-coms, celebrity gossip, and New York City.
Can wayward trans icon Ren Rockwell reunite nis band, win back nis ex and end homelessness with a charity concert?
Of course not. But the way this week is going Ren might die trying, and ne would count that as a win.
Ren is running ragged hosting Love Aid: a Concert to End Homelessness in a desperate attempt to mend two relationships with one grand gesture. But still reeling from the depressive episode that saw nim break up nis band and be broken up with, Ren can't deal with Nizhóní Blackwater, the autistic journalist determined to crack nis plastic persona.
Ren's Type-A PA tries valiantly to help, but Meera Dabral is too easily seduced by the bicurious barista and soft-dom security guard who demand her attention.
Ever since the army sent Sarkis Kassabian home two legs short to live out his thirties as a security guard in New York City, he has avoided commitment in favor of coping with his PTSD by dominating one-off submissives. He's not looking for love and certainly wouldn't pick an unruly celebrity assistant. But the spark between them refuses to be smothered, and they must choose whether to risk their hearts and their lives for the chance to say "You're mine" and truly mean it.
Meera's distraction leaves Ren on nis own with Nizhóní, a decision that goes from bad to worse when ADHD barista Bianca Capello crashes into their lives.
Bianca has virtually sworn off sex, so how does she find herself at the threshold of a celebrity threesome? The difference is a recent more-than-friends relationship with her broken-hearted college roommate Carmen Peralta. The night before the Love Aid concert the undefined nature of their new bond explodes in their faces and that's the beginning of a symphony of drama that crescendoes on stage.
Will our lovers find peace and partnership when the confetti settles?
A Concert of Chemistry is a scalding hot, LGBTQ+, neurodivergent, polyamorous romp of rom-com guaranteed to get you wet in more ways than one.
